An exhibition by Femi Fagbola and Funso Mayowa
These two friends have known each other since 1990 and both now live in Walsall.
They use oil paints and inks to produce paintings in a style that is traditional to the region of their home town Ile-Ife, Osun state, Nigeria. Featuring abstract figurative work and narrative landscapes that depict village life, executed in vibrant colours.
Other exhibitions include Sheraton and Eko hotels in Lagos as well as at the Royal Palace of his Royal Highness Oba Okumade Sijuwade Olubuse 2nd .
